Hi, I'm Maddie.
Someone once described me as “all gas no breaks”. I don’t really know what she meant but I think that she was saying that I’m all in. That when I love or when I do something I go big. I am in it to win it. That's what I do with my projects. I am all in. I go big but I am intentional with what I do. Everything I do or place in a project has a very specific reasoning behind it. I want to be an innovator because I am extremely passionate about creating new and efficient ideas to better society. This is me and I cannot be more excited to invite you watch me innovate through this crazy beautiful adventure that we call life.
E-LearningWe all have skills. You know those things that we just excel at. According to The World Economic Forum the top skills that will be vital will be complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management, coordinating with others, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision-making, service orientation, negotiation, and cognitive flexibility.
Overall I feel confident in my ability to be creativity. I have the ability to look beyond the surface. For example, this past year I had the opportunity to create a blog and there I was able to create and be an author of something that goes further than the surface level. Not only do I feel confident in my creativity ability but I am very comfortable coordinating with others. Listening to others, building teams and being organized are some of my best strengths. Looking into the future I know that I will need to improve my negotiation skills. I tend to be stubborn and most deals will end in a “win-lose” situation. But in order to be successful it needs to be a “win-win” situation. I plan to use online resources as well as books like “Never Split the Difference” in order to improve my skills. I also believe that no one has completely figured out critical thinking. This is a skill where there is always going to be room for improvement. I plan to improve this school through practice and learning from those who are constantly questioning the status quo. |
